Re: “Dam Proposal on the Weiser River Trail Calls for Sacrifice

Ok, first things first, while I am personally against the creation of another dam on our Idaho waterways, I also understand the plight of the farmer. This is a complex issue with so many contributing factors. However, when people like the above commenter, decide to chime in with the hopeful rhetoric that is obviously ignorant of any agricultural causes, and is disappointed because she can't walk her rescue dog over private lands/farms that have an irrigation canal. But yet cannot spell the word Irrigation, nor consider/worry about the feeding of a growing population through said agriculture. I worry about the future of the human race. . .

Re: “Warning Issued Regarding Horses Heading For Idaho

I know ex-jockeys, current trainers/owners and many of the support system for the Les Bois Park racing syndicate. The Jockeys are more likely to be on drugs than the horses. The owners for the most part are great people who take better care of the horses than some do of their own children. These horses have better medical care and dental work than most Garden City human residents. As for running on a "hard track" obviously you have never been to a race. The track is maintained to be soft and forgiving on both horses and jockeys. Yes injuries do occur, to both horses and riders. That is the risk you take. Watcher you have an opinion on everything and are an expert at nothing as far as I see. But I guess out of over 500 comments you have to be right at least once. Most deaths of horses that occur around the track are freak accidents. This local icon, Les Bois, has been a treasured and time honored tradition in Idaho and supports a lot more people than you would imagine. Tell me watcher, at what age does the skeletal system of a horse fuse?

Watcher, you need to get laid. Seriously the computer screen is not a vagina, quit staring at it longingly. You are not solving the world or the state's problems by commenting on BW threads. Go for a walk or something. Smoke a doob, chill out.

Re: “AP: Study Projects More Derailments of Fuel-Hauling Trains

Anhydrous Ammonia, Molten Sulfur, Liquid Petroleum, What do these three chemicals have in common? They are pulled back to back with each other with millions of tons of steel moving at speeds up to 60 mph through towns everywhere. Less than two hundred feet from my fathers bedroom in this particular town. Scared? no? You should be.
