Re: “Idaho Restaurant: Guns, Alcohol and Chicken Wings Just Don't Mix

Nothing stopping you, other than your desire to avoid being perceived as a douchebag attention whore.

Re: “Boise Snow and Skate Shop, Newt and Harold's, Closing After 30 Years

Am I really that old? I guess so. (I remember when it opened - I had a friend who was a skater. His name was Newt. He got asked about the shop a lot, lol)

Re: “'I Assumed That Access to Health Care Is Something Veterans Didn't Have to Worry About'

I agree that veterans need affordable health care. So does everyone else. I'm retired Army, and without exception we all knew that if you wanted the benefits, you stayed 20 years. Every proposal I've seen so far to extend benefits to those with under 20 years is nothing more than camouflage for the overall reduction of benefits.

What we need, is a true single payer system. You know, the kind that civilized nations have.

Re: “The Missionary Position Gives Boise the Old In Out In Out

I was there, never miss 'em when they make it to Boise. Of course, I'm a friend of the family too... It does drive me crazy when we have top notch talent in town, and nobody seems to care. (They were all watching Styx at the fair.)

Re: “From The Crazy Horse to the Red Room

I was practically a resident in the early 80's. The B-Sides played there a lot, Famous In Spain, Boystown, etc. There was a thriving music scene then. Nothing but good (hazy) memories from that place.
Bass Matters has done a good job booking if keeping true to the old Crazy Horse was the goal - I have spent the majority of my TreeFort time at The Red Room, that's where the bands I'm interested in have been playing.

Re: “Crapo, Other Senators Ask for Greater Review of Fracking Study

Could be worse I suppose. Back in the 60s/70s they were trying to "frack" by using nuclear weapons.
