Re: “Goldy's Corner

Rachel83706 you life is so negative, again find the good qualities that business's are trying to give their customers. It's not just the Goldy's Corner, support everyone in Boise including the week-end market during the summer. To the family selling fresh corn out of their truck. Everyone gains from community support.

Re: “Goldy's Corner

That's great that Boise Weekly supports the local artist and yet did Josh ask Goldy's Corner before he based the type of business they were? What did he call it half gas station market. So be supportive Boise Weekly you not only offend the customers of Goldy's and Goldy's corner but the local artist you support. There is so much negative crap written and Rachel83706 how about listing your full name if you think the critic is so right. Again he wrote and I quote "Much better was a chicken artichoke crepe, doused in hollandaise prepared by the barista. Its only flaw was that the crepe was snack-sized. "
It was a White Wine Cream Sauce. So if he such a food expert then how do you make such a mistake in that! If Josh was buisness savy he would of picked up on the business concept of Goldy's Corner. Downtown Boise has loss so many business's due to this economy how about writing the positive aspects of a business expanding and offering smaller portions at a reasonable price. Boise Weekly with your Cover Auction you could of added one or two more business to help with your Auction but instead your critic just dropped the ball on that one! Rachel83706 I hope you are first in line to offer your time and support to the Cover Auction and all the other organizations that need help. I know Goldy's and Goldy's Corner does. It's not about my love for a place that serves great food. It's about building a community that supports one another and adding jobs to those who are really struggling. I did my homework and for the thousand of dollars Boise Weekly helps to Local Arts you hurt yourself by not noticing the artist pictures and crafts being sold on their behalf. I will support them to the day I die and proud of it..

Re: “Goldy's Corner

Thank Goodness that Josh Gross is not a owner of a business! He would of failed within the first month of owning a company. Goldy's expansion to the
Goldy's Corner first off is one of the most inventive moves by a company. The size of Goldy's is only so big. So if you want to get a latte or pastry well it a little tight. Goldys Corner was establish to meet those needs, for customers in a hurry on a tight schedule. Someone wanting to get a meal on the go and treat on the side. The artist who make and sell their stuff at Goldy's Corner get 100% of the money, rent free and a way for the owner to give back to
the community and this struggling ecomony. How much free stuff does Boise Weekly give to artist? By the way Josh how in the world did you become a food critic.. You do not even know the difference your sauces!! Get real and Boise Weekly find a real Food Critic!! That understand economics and getting people jobs, and artist who can sell their goods because there's a business who cares.
