Re: “Hindu Prayer in Idaho Senate: 'Lead Us From Darkness to Light'

How rude, disrespectful, narrow-minded and insulting. How would you feel if 20% of all Idaho state senators walked out of the room if a leader of YOUR religious faith was leading the invocation?

Re: “The Wrong Question (Update): 'I'm Going to Court'

Why would any business looking to fill good-paying jobs with the best talent from a diverse workforce want to locate (or stay) in Idaho where the governor and his appointees roll out a welcome mat that lists the type of people not welcome here?

Look for the legislature to do the same when they let Rep. Lynn Luker resurrect his 2014 morally repugnant, job-killing bill that allows businesses to discriminate against people who don't share their religious beliefs. Even Jan Brewer, the ultra-conservative governor of Arizona, vetoed a similar bill to Luker's when it reached her desk earlier this year.

Elections matter. Hold them accountable.

Clearly, things DO need to get "better."

Re: “North Idaho GOP Officials: Sheriff, Not Feds, Should Enforce Guns

Who thinks the Idaho Republican Party would support repealing the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution if Democrats controlled 81% of the state legislature (instead of the 81% control by the Republican Party today)?

This has nothing to do with values, principles or even ideology. It is a pure, naked power grab by the Idaho Republican Party to take away your right to vote your U.S. Senator and give it to themselves.
