Re: “Terrorism Expert: Don't Take 'Light Foots' Lightly

Um... Joe. The "Palouse Militia" was a Light Foot Unit until their CO decided to become a "secret squirrel" group. It is now a private paramilitary group that you have to be "approved to join".

The first Idaho Light Foot Unit was the 21st Battalion in Boundary County. Then came the 17th in Bonner County and the 55th in Kootenai (Coeur d'Alene). We have always been open with the public as well as with the county sheriff's departments.

As we began organizing we attracted our neighbors in WA who wanted to join with us. We told them "you can't join us, you're not citizens of Idaho". You see, we're not a "group" that you join. They then formed the Spokane 63rd Light Foot after checking with their state constitution. And have helped form Light Foot units across Washington and Oregon!

If you are a citizen of the state of Idaho you are, by law, a member of the Idaho militia. We are simply doing what the state legislature refuses to do according to Article 14 of our constitution and "arm, equip and discipline the militia".

I wish they would. It would be nice to see our elected officials doing their duty for a change.

For a copy of the "Standards" and to learn how to start a unit or just train yourself as a "Militia of One" go to

Re: “'Light Foot' Militia Created in Ada County to 'Assist' in Protection of Lives, Property

If we were still talking about the Light Foot Militia I would hazard a comment, but....

Want to find out how much of a "front" this is? I'm the founder of the Light Foot Militia movement. We are legally bound by our state constitutions and submit ourselves to local and state, legitimate authority. If this "so called" expert is so knowledgeable about us, then how come I've never heard of him? He has never contacted me once to ask me any questions. Is he afraid of the truth? Just because it doesn't line up with his political and world view? Look us up. and if you're still not convinced that we're anything but an underground, secret squirrel group, then call my cell phone (208) 597-0196. Jeff
