Re: “A Day of Dining Out in McCall

Meant to add Props to Fog Lifter.. great breakfast place.. also great breakfast - a gem few know about is The Hub, talk about realIy great breakfast burritos in a cool, locals shop with amazing photograhy.. go to the HUB - next to Alpine Playhouse and the town lot behind Gravity Sports.. At Fog Lifter I recommend the Egg Sandwich, poached and deconstructed.. they do a good job if you have some time. Good location with outdoor seating for people watching. Also worth knowing is that the Sushi Bar (across the street - Railroad Ave) makes Pho on Saturdays and Sundays. Some of the best Pho Ive ever head, including time in Southeast Asia.. and it is by far the best hangover cure in McCall.... Sushi Bar has happy hour too M-F on rolls and drinks. y

Re: “A Day of Dining Out in McCall

They missed the only cheap eats with awesooome view and cool vacation vibe, downtown and on the lake - hard to go there and not make friends. Last time we ended up renting a Stand Up Paddleboard after we ate. The place doesnt open until June 15th and I think this article was already written by then. Mile High Marina is open every day.. (many places are closed on Mondays in McCall) and they lunch and dinner and have a BAR!!! We love it. Its on the deck, with no walls so you are on the water, watching all the action with cold beer and wine and good food - like fish tacos, grilled salmon and of course burger and such. I think they have a happy hour every day too - I know they did last year. Only other option to be on the water is $hore Lodge and that's a hike or a drive (after drinks?!).
