Re: “Big Traffic Changes This Week to Capitol, Main and Idaho in Downtown Boise

I'm glad bikes will have an easier time downtown. Afterall, the business oweners downtown should really enjoy not having all the auto traffic down there that carry all the people around that buy the good in the store.

Nice move Boise... let's make downtown Boise hard to make a living in.

Re: “Banned from Meridian Curriculum, Controversial Book Lands in More Hands

Wait... you want to FORCE my children to read your stupid book... but I can't FORCE your children to read my bible in school.

Now... how is that NOT censorship or even hypocrisy?

If you get to make my kid read your smut, then I get to make your kid read the BIBLE.

Sound like a fair deal to you?

Re: “Why is CWI Going to Boise for Graduation Ceremonies?

Who the heck disliked my comments above? Are you serious? It was a statement of FACT, not my opinion. This has been going on for a while and NOBODY has has crap about it... or even cares for that matter.

It's a business decision by the SCHOOL, not the students... because the school has to be accountable. So maybe if they could go to the Idaho Center for less than they go somewhere else it would make sense.

Does anybody in this town actually think with their own brain? Apparently not.

Re: “Idaho Says No to Final Resting Place for Veteran and Spouse

How come nobody was outraged or saddened before this happened? This has simply been state law for as long as anyone can remember. It's always been this way, why is it only now that it makes a difference?

If you all are so upset to be an "Idahoan" then maybe you should look at the law's of the land before you decide to call it a home. This didn't just happen, it's been like this for a long, long time. Because traditionally a marriage has been between a man and a women.

If we (Idahoans) want to change it, it's pretty simple. Vote for a representative that will change the law. Simple... very very simple... Personally I don't care, but the law is the law, if we want it changed, just change it. Duh!

Re: “Crumbling Foundations 5

Kids use to be educated at home. School is where they went to learn to read, write and do math. Home is where they learned what it means to have good work ethic, be honest, treat people with respect.

Home is the problem, the family unit. Schools are a reflection of what we do at home. The reason we have a superintendent that has no credentials is he was able to persuade all the uneducated people in the state of Idaho that he's could do a good job.

How did we get a lamest most worthless president in this world? Look at the the voters that voted for him... pretty much all the population hell holes in America voted for him, and all the educated and people that give a damn didn't vote.

This country and this state is going to hell in a hand basket because our family units are crumbling. Not only did we take God out of the schools, we took the family out of the family...

Re: “Boise: Livable? Sure. Sustainable? We'll See

Yup... another excuse to create some job for some "buddies' to line the pockets of the government.

Figure out how to attract business to the city, and get out of the market's way.
