Benefit for Kirk "Whaler" Heaton

When: Wed., Oct. 14, 7-10 p.m. 2009
You heard all the news reports this summer about cyclists being hit by cars while on the road in Boise. Kirk "Whaler" Heaton was one of them. July 14, Heaton was hit by an uninsured driver who wasn't legally supposed to be behind the wheel in the first place. Heaton broke his neck in the accident and still, three months later, has a "halo" bolted to his skull. A couple of local bands have come together to put on a show to benefit Heaton. The Magnetics, The Beauticians, Hillfolk Noir and MC Will Bingo will perform. T-shirts and raffle tickets will be sold. Raffle items include a LifeFlight membership, three nights in a vacation home on the Oregon coast and much more. You don't have to be present to win, and you can buy raffle tickets before the event if you can't make it. Call Sue for tickets at 208-939-6050.
