Goody’s: It’s a sweet trip to the candy shop.

It's practically impossible to stroll through Boise's North End and not stop at Goody's. The shelves are filled with a variety of confections, and you can get hand-scooped milkshakes, homemade waffle cones, banana splits and turtle sundaes. What a sweet treat.

2nd Place: The Chocolat Bar—There's chocolate, and then there are the artisan delicacies created at the Chocolat Bar. listed The Chocolat Bar as one of the top 50 chocolatiers in America, and a single sample is all you need to know why the honor was well deserved.

3rd Place: Lee's Candies—Around Easter this year, we spent some time behind the counter with Curtis Nokleby, whose father Lee founded the sweet little candy shop in 1947. Judging by the steady stream of customers walking away with bags of candy and boxes of chocolates, Lee's is still as popular as ever.
