Best Local Yoga Studio

Boise Hot Yoga

A solid studio in every aspect, what really sets Boise Hot Yoga apart from the crowd is the range of classes it offers, including everything from the more common 60- and 90-minute hatha sessions to inferno hot pilates (a challenging interval training workout taught in a 95- to 100-degree room), aerial yoga and sessions for kids. Soon, Nidra classes, which are focused on meditation rather than movement, will join the roster as well. Showers are included in the changing rooms, water is abundant and free, and mats and towels can be rented for $2 a pop.

2nd Place: Essential Hot Yoga—Essential is known for its laid-back, non-competitive vibe and beautiful studio spaces in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Garden City. With classes spanning a range of practices including ashtanga, vinyasa and yin, and options for workshops and teacher training, both advanced and beginner yogis are sure find something to love.

3rd Place: Sage Yoga and Wellness—Every class at Sage is a little different. The studio focuses on improving inner health rather than outward appearance. In its mirror-free space on Eighth Street, Sage offers group classes and private one-on-one sessions, as well as a host of wellness services like acupuncture, massage, nutrition consultation and more.
