It's all about the guitar this year at Boise Blues Society's annual Boise Blues Festival. Belgrade, Serbia-born, Memphis-based Ana Popovic headlines the BBF, which has expanded this year to be at the Idaho Botanical Garden.

Popovic is an award-winning blues guitarist and vocalist, currently touring behind her epic three-album release, Trilogy (Artistexclusive Records, May 2016). A chart topper and music mag cover regular, Popovic is endorsed by Fender, DR Handmade Strings and The Boss (Bruce Springsteen) himself, who called her "one helluva of a guitar player." Joining Popovic is the Andy T/Nick Nixon Band from Nashville, and local acts Smooth Avenue Band as well as BBS Scholars and Friends led by Kevin Littrell and Thomas Wilson.
