A Boise man is behind bars following a Monday morning stabbing incident.

Boise police were summoned to the 500 block of 13th Street, where a victim reported being stabbed in the head. The victim was taken to the hospital with what investigators said were non-life-threatening injuries. Officers recovered a knife at the scene and detained a male suspect without incident.

Raymond Ranson, 43, of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of aggravated battery.

Meanwhile, BPD reports charges are still pending against a  driver involved in an vehicle accident that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital. Investigators report the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Rose Hill and Roosevelt streets on Feb. 17, involved a Subaru Impreza driven by a still-unidentified female and a motorcycle. A preliminary investigation showed the driver ran a red light and the motorcyclist had the right-of-way. The motorcyclist was listed in stable condition Monday morning. Detectives say their report has been sent to the Ada County Prosecutor for a review of possible charges.
