Boise Music Week

Various Locations, Friday-Sunday, May 11-20

This is it, everyone. This year marks the big three-digit anniversary for Boise Music Week, the event that celebrates all things harmonious in the City of Trees. For 2018, the festivities centering around dance, music and theater will include not only a performance of Meredith Willson's The Music Man, which follows the exploits of a con man and features more than 70 performers, but also an international dance night, organ recitals at St. Michael's Cathedral, barbershop quartet performances at Boise High School, a silent movie screening accompanied by music at the Egyptian Theatre, a concert at Grove Plaza and much, much more. The festival is the longest-running event of its kind in the United States—and did we mention that it's free? With such a low price tag, there's no excuse not to check it out.
