Boise Police Investigating Report of North End Knife Attack

Boise Police are investigating a report of the battery of an 18-year-old female in Boise's North End in the late evening hours of April 22. Police said the victim had been walking home around 10:30 p.m. on 11th Street near the Fort Street intersection when a male suspect grabbed her from behind. The woman told police the suspect used a small knife to cut her right cheek and chest, but she was able to pull away from her attacker and run home. Her injuries did not require hospitalization.

BPD searched the area and notified neighbors of the incident. Police have identified the suspect as male, about six feet tall with a large build. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt.
