Boise Police Need Help in Identifying Sex Assault Suspect

Boise police said they need the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connected with an alleged sexual assault on Americana Boulevard near the Boise River.

According to officials, the incident occurred in the evening hours of Thursday, Aug. 20. That's when a woman told officers she was sitting outside of her vehicle in a gravel area east of South Americana. According to the police report, a man approached the alleged victim from behind, forcing her to the ground. Police said the suspect, an adult male, sexually assaulted the woman and fled on foot, heading south.

The suspect is described as an adult white male, approximately 6-foot, 1-inch tall and approximately 260 pounds. He has black hair and had an unshaven face. The victim also told police that the man was missing several teeth and wearing a light blue wind breaker, white T-shirt with red lettering and tan pants with bleach stains.
