Boise police are turning to the public for help in their investigation of a downtown stabbing.

Investigators said the incident occurred just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, near the intersection of Capitol Boulevard and Main Street. That's where witnesses told police a group of four to six adult males were fighting. When one of the men was stabbed multiple times in the torso, witnesses said the other men fled from the scene. The victim was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS (2677) or by turning to the P3 Tips app on iTunes or Google Play. Tips can be left anonymously but a reward of $1,000 is being offered if a tip leads to a felony arrest.
