Mark your calendars for Boise State's second annual French-language film festival, set for successive Thursdays and Fridays Jan. 24-Feb. 8. The fantastic line-up of films will encourage spectators to reflect on important issues of diversity and inclusivity that affect us all. Films are in French with English subtitles except for the film on the first day of Black History Month, Feb. 1. I Am Not Your Negro, directed by the renowned Haitian-born filmmaker Raoul Pec, is in English. Gayla Thomas-Dabney, director of Equity and Inclusion at Boise State, will present the film and lead the post-screening discussion. For the complete schedule of films, visit the event's Facebook page. Funded with a grant from the French government (FACE), all screenings are free and open to the public. In the Micron Building's Skaggs Hall, Room 1301, with parking available nearby in the Bradley Garage.
