Boise Woman Charged With Armed Robbery; BPD Investigating Golf Ball-Tossing Vandals

A Boise woman was arrested today and charged with robbing an acquaintance at gunpoint.

A Boise Police Department release said in the early morning hours of Jan. 28 at a residence on the 1600 block of Victory Road, Marissa Cram, 31, robbed an acquaintance of money, keys and a cellphone at gunpoint. According to the release, when Cram was arrested, she was in possession of prescription pills, methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia; and police found evidence linking Cram to the robbery. Cram is in Ada County Jail, charged with felony robbery, two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a schedule IV drug or substance.

BPD are also investigating a rash of vandalism that occurred Jan. 26 in north Boise. About two dozen golf balls were used to break windows in homes and cars, causing thousands of dollars in damage. Similar reports came from Warm Springs Ave., Ranch Road, Hearthstone Drive, Villa Norte Street, Braemere Road and Sweetgrass Way. According to a release, BPD has made an extensive effort to locate all victims of the vandalism, but anyone who finds additional damage to their property is encouraged to call BPD dispatch at 208-377-6790. Anyone with information about the crimes or suspects is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-2677.
