Brad Little was publicly sworn in as Idaho's 33rd governor on Feb. 4.

At a noon ceremony that was open to the public, Brad Little was sworn in as Idaho's 33rd governor.

"I will seek to reflect our shared Idaho values and aspirations," he said. "This means making decisions through one lens: of ensuring the best possible opportunities for us, our children and grandchildren to remain in Idaho, to thrive and enjoy our unparalleled quality of life."

At under 10 minutes, the newly sworn-in governor's remarks were brief; he'll likely speak at greater length about his vision for his tenure during the upcoming State of the State address, which he'll deliver on Monday, Jan. 7, before a joint session of the Idaho House and Senate.

The Jan. 4 ceremony was not, however, the official swearing-in; that will take place privately on Jan. 7.
