Brown Bag Lecture

Linda Morton-Keithley, administrator for the Public Archives and Research Library of the Idaho State Historical Society gives a talk on The History of the CCC in Idaho from 1933-1942 and shares some historic photographs. Morton-Keithley, certified archivist, discusses the legacy the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) had in Idaho including details on work projects, camp organization and life and what types of educational opportunities the enrollees received. Also included in the lecture is an overview of the records left behind by the CCC and how researchers can access those materials will be addressed. Coffee, punch and cookies are provided. Donations are accepted.
