The sun broke through the clouds to allow for a jazzy afternoon spent with Rubblebucket. As they played trumpets, and a saxophone that jolted the audience into dance, lyrics like “I think I was a bird in another life / maybe that’s why I’m prone to flight / and I do like heights” lifted the audience to a state of bliss. Dancing on stage, crowd surfing, and flower hats made for nothing short of a stellar performance from the Brooklyn-based group.
