Boise Police are investigating an incident that occurred near the entrance of a downtown parking garage at approximately 2:15 a.m. on March 25 that left a Caldwell man seriously injured and his wife looking for help from the public.

Kristina Williams said she and her husband Josh had just left the Balcony Club at the corner of Eighth and Idaho streets when they encountered a man near a set of escalators leading to the parking garage.

"The assailant came up to video tape me while I was sick and incapacitated," she wrote on a GoFundMe page. "Josh confronted him nonviolently and the next thing we know Josh is being beaten. By the time it was done, my back was messed up and Josh had several injuries to his face, head and neck."

Kristina attached a photo of her husband's facial injuries and wrote that he sufferd a broken nose and multiple fractures to an occipital bone.

"He might need surgery," she wrote.

Williams' description of an alleged assailant was that of a white or Hispanic man with dark brown hair and light beard. He was wearing a red plaid shirt and black pants. Possible witnesses are being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.

Meanwhile, Kristina is asking for assistance with her husband's medical bills via GoFundMe.

"Josh is now on medical leave from work and we are not yet sure how long before he can return," she wrote. "The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help cover medical expenses that we may not be able to afford."
