Boise may be home to an array of art- and literature-based events, but it's rare to see a festival designed by and for people of the theater. Campfire Theatre Festival fills that void, offering three days of workshops, guest performances and social activities centered around the stage. Each day features performances and readings at Boise Contemporary Theater by dancers, comedians and playwrights, including Noah Diaz, Iris Dauterman, Heidi Kraay and others. There will be workshops on topics like "Creating Natural Character" and "Writing for Film." Each night will wrap up with an afterparty at The Mode Lounge.
