Re: “Meet Idaho's New 'Chief of Schools'

Chief of Schools sounds a lot better than Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Chief of Schools is a synonym and some areas, such as Washington D.C., actually use the title 'Chief of Schools' instead of the mouthful that is 'Superintendent of Public Instruction'.

Other common synonyms are 'Chief Education Officer' and 'Chief School Administrator'. Both of which are more verbose than 'Chief of Schools'.

Wikipedia is your friend.

Why not attack her on her education platform instead of something so silly as the fact that she used a less verbose synonym for her title?
