Clearwater Analytics, Gardner Team Up to Construct Boise Building 

Construction of the 200,000-square-foot structure would begin in autumn 2014, with a estimated completion date of spring 2016.

Boise-based software firm Clearwater Analytics and construction mogul Gardner Company have plans to build one more structure to grace the downtown Boise skyline. 







The Clearwater Building, as the project has been dubbed, would be a 9-story office building located at the corner of Eighth and Main streets. Construction of the 200,000-square-foot structure would begin in autumn 2014, with a estimated completion date of spring 2016.







The project's estimated cost has not been disclosed. 







In a press release, the reason Clearwater and Gardner chose to build has been steady growth in Clearwater's business interests, though the building would also include space for other enterprises, including retail and restaurant spaces on the first floor.







The company has plans to consolidate its Boise offices at the new space as part of Gardner Company's City Center Plaza, which would include the Eighth and Main Tower, which currently nears completion, and the U.S. Bank Plaza, for which Gardner Company had finalized loan paperwork that would help it purchase the location, which is adjacent to the Clearwater Building's proposed build site. City Center Plaza would also contain a $12 million multi-modal transit center at its base. 







In all, the plaza would stretch from the western side of Eighth and Main streets eastward to Capitol Boulevard and include the Clearwater Building, the Eighth and Main Tower, the U.S. Bank Building, the transit center and one more building to the south of the U.S. Bank Tower.
