Court upholds spraying buffer 

The 9th Circut Court of Appeals upheld the pesticide spraying buffer along salmon streams last week. The court also upheld the requirement of warning signs for pesticides at point-of-sale locations in the Pacific Northwest. Pesticide manufacturers sought to overturn a lower court ruling in which they challenged the legality of the buffer zones and warnings.
