Re: “Ada County Paramedics Cope with Internal Tragedy After Two Commit Suicide

.I mean the fact that there was 4000 mental health calls alone should be an eye opener, and I am sure those are just the ones that were reported. So though I am very saddened by this,I hope some good will come from these devastating losses,in our community. But sadly it shouldn't have to come to this before as a community or the State get woken up about mental health issues. Sorry if I offended anyone,it wasn't my intention. "Suicide doesn't take away the pain. It gives it to someone else"

Re: “Ada County Paramedics Cope with Internal Tragedy After Two Commit Suicide

I do not want to sound insensitive because my heart goes out to the families and friends and co workers of these two lovely people. But as of partner of almost 10 years of someone that killed himself,he left behind a tidal wave that still ripples today and that was in 2002.Why does it take 2 people in the governmental/state/county branch side of things to get a 4 page spread in a publication and have some light shed on mental illness/suicide?I and the public have been screaming for years about the lack of good, hell any mental health help, education, facilities. And also that we are 48 or 49th in the country, and that there are more mentally ill people locked up in prison, that should be getting help instead of being there
