If a convert to Mormonism wrote a book about how joining the faith had improved his or her life, would it get it similar treatment in the pages of Boise Weekly?

When Democrat Attorney General Larry Echohawk (a Mormon) was running for governor against Phil Batt (a Baptist), a lot of non-Mormon writers thought the Mormons would vote in droves for Echohawk. He had played football at BYU for the great Lavell Edwards -- and Edwards had endorsed Echohawk for governor. But when election day campaign, those faithful Mormons in eastern Idaho who loved BYU football back in the day, voted overwhelmingly for Phil Batt. I expect the same outcome for Butch Otter vs Allred.
