Fly Film

New fly fishing film just the thing for a winter day

Once the forecast starts to include uncomfortable words like “snow” and “freezing,” most of us put water-based sports away for the season. But anglers have one more chance to get a fly fishing fix.

Rise is the latest offering from Confluence Films, the filmmakers behind Drift (there seems to be a theme here). The film takes viewers on a globetrotting fishing adventure, including a stop at Henry’s Fork and the RR Ranch.

The film will hit the screen at the Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St., at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 with doors at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and available at risefilmboise.com.
