Re: “Cool Hand Luke's Steakhouse/Saloon

Revenge is a dish better served cold. Which is exactly what my dinner was served at Cool Hand Lukes. I ordered their special. It was special all right. The steak. I think I saw where the jockey hit it. The Steak. It was a flat Iron steak with the Blue Cheese topping. The Blue Cheese Topping was good.... The Steak, if you want to call it that, was not. I ordered it medium rare. I got it rare and cold. Along with a much anticipated Idaho potato with all the trimming. It was warm, towards the cold side. Tell me; how do you screw up a potato? The service was good. The rolls were good. The beer choice was very limited. However, I found one acceptable ale which I used to choke down my steak.... which I did not finish. It was the worst steak I had at a restaurant in 10 years. Would I go their again? Not unless it was free with all the beer I could drink to choke down the entire.
