The food delivery service Grubhub has long been a giant in the online and mobile-ordering spheres, partnering with more than 80,000 restaurants in upward of 1,500 cities in the United States and Great Britain. As of Monday, April 2, the service has officially welcomed Boise into the fold, offering delivery from 24 area restaurants. Plus, from now through Thursday, April 12, customers ordering online or through the Grubhub app can use the code BOISEFREE to get food delivered at no charge.

Boise is one of 34 cities that joined the Grubhub delivery roster April 2, including nearby Tacoma, Washington, as well as four new outposts in California.

“We’re thrilled to expand our delivery offering to these markets across the U.S., making quick progress on our plan to expand our delivery capabilities throughout the coming year,” said Grubhub COO Stan Chia in a press release. “These additional markets are part of our vision to connect more diners with even more of their favorite local restaurants across the country, and provide them with the widest selection of choice wherever they are.”

In addition to partnering with restaurants that have their own delivery services, like New York Richie's in Garden City and Extreme Pizza on Broadway Avenue, Grubhub will provide drivers for national chains like Chili's and local spots like The Stil, The Hyde House, Meraki Greek Street Food, Zeppole Baking Company, Paddles Up Poke and more. Delivery fees and minimums vary restaurant to restaurant; check the Grubhub website for details.
