Re: “Shush Up, You Boys!

Let me introduce myself, My Name is Peggy Myers and I am the General Sales Manager of High Desert Harley-Davidson in Meridian. Bill, I am going to assume by the name you can tell that I'm not a pudgy ole man (no offense guys). According to my customers I'm a fairly attractive 40 year old woman, with two kids, who absolutely loves to ride my motorcycle, when I get a day off. So Bill, what I see here is a man who apparently has never met a motorcycle rider? Because you have insulted several of the top business men & women in the Treasure Valley. You have insulted honest working folks. I truely don't see what your complaint is about. I can guarentee you that if I needed help along side the road a person on a motorcycle would be more likely to help me then a man in a car. Not all folks that ride motorcycles, are bad, people like yourself has made the impression of all people who ride motorcycles are bad. Well, the "Harley Gang" that went on a ride this past Sunday Raised Over $5,000.00 for MDA (for those who don't know Muscular Dystrophy Association, helps fight for a cure for the children and adults that have thise horrific disease). What have you done, for charities lately? Bill, I invite you to visit my dealership anytime and meet the young men and women that work here. I think if you got to know us you would find out that we aren't Old pudgy wanta bes (again no offense). We actually have a hobby and firends we love. As far as the noise, there are more things out there making noise then just bikes. Heck, some people neighbors are louder then some exhaust pipes. (FYI, my pipes are stock). Please I encourage you to come in and meet with me, I'm sure I can change your opinion. Fellow riders RIDE SAFE and HAPY RIDING
