Holiday Films at The Egyptian Theatre and the Idaho State Museum

Times and locations vary.

Freezing temps are nature's neon sign begging you to stay indoors with a Christmas movie playing, and there's no shortage of holiday hits on the big screen in this town. Boise Classic Movies and the Idaho State Museum are here for you. Though its showings of White Christmas have been cancelled, BCM is still playing A Christmas Story (Thursday and Friday, Dec. 13 and 14), Home Alone (Saturday, Dec. 15) and It's A Wonderful Life (Wednesday, Dec. 19) at The Egyptian Theatre. Plus, in an ode actress Maureen O'Hara, who retired to Boise, the Idaho State Museum will screen her classic 1947 Christmas tale Miracle on 34th Street on Saturday, Dec. 15. A collection of O'Hara artifacts will be on display, too, so treat yourself to some quality time indoors.
