Idaho AG Investigating Alleged Assault at Lincoln County School

The Idaho attorney general's office has been called in to investigate an allegation of sexual assault on a student in the Lincoln County town of Dietrich.

Parents of students at Dietrich High School told KMVT-TV a student had been sexually assaulted with a foreign object at the high school and the alleged victim was treated for injuries at a local hospital.

KMVT-TV reports the Dietrich School Board held an emergency meeting Nov. 10, at which two unidentified students were expelled. Meanwhile, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office stated it has been placed under a gag order and officials at the Dietrich School District told KMVT-TV they were "not at liberty to discuss any details about any student disciplinary actions or actions involving a student."
