Idaho Health Insurance Exchange Hires Communications Director, Contracts With Gallatin Public Affairs

Gallatin has been awarded a $200,000 contract to conduct state-wide market research, create an initial Exchange website, develop communication strategy, create educational materials and manage media relations

There's no summer vacation for the men and women tasked with crafting the Idaho Health Insurance Exchange.

Facing a Tuesday, October 1, deadline to have an online marketplace "live," a new communication coordinator was named this morning to begin outreach and education on the exchange.

Jody Olson has been named director of communications and marketing for the Exchange.

Albereto Gonzalez has been tasked with being the Exchange's new operations project manager. Gonzalez is the former bureau chief with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

The Exchange has also hired a team from Gallatin Public Affairs to assist with the communications effort. Gallatin has been awarded a $200,000 contract to conduct state-wide market research, create an initial Exchange website, develop communication strategy, create educational materials and manage media relations.
