The Idaho Department of Correction reports the second offender walkaway from an eastern Idaho inmate work crew in as many days.

On July 20, 39-year-old Kirsten Walz, who had been convicted for drug possession in 2015 and forgery in 2016, walked away from a work crew on the northeast side of Pocatello. She had also been recently indicted on additional drug charges. About 26-hours after she was reported missing, Walz was arrested, without incident at a Pocatello residence.
