Irish Dancer to Give Free Workshops 

This Friday, Mark Howard, Emmy award-winning choreographer and founder of the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance will host a free dance workshop for area youth ages 5-18. Howard i the man credited with founding the progressive Irish dance form (think successors like Riverdance). 

Howard founded the Tiernan Irish Dancers, a non-profit traditional Irish step-dancing school and performance group for children, in Boise and Helena, Montana, in January 2004, with dancers ranging in age from 5-18 years. Tiernan Irish Dance students will compete in the Boise Feis, which will be held August 27 in the Doubletree Riverside ballroom at 8 a.m.
