Note: 1] Rights predate government. 2] Rights, akin to breathing, require neither permission nor acceptance to exist. 3] SCOTUS has consistently ruled the police are not responsible for the safety of citizens. 4] Since the definition of "infringed" is the same today as it was in the 18th century when the Bill of Rights was ratified, one must wonder exactly how Boise Police Chief "we have adequate 2nd Amendment freedoms" interprets the phrase "shall not be infringed"?
