Jeremy Enigk, the quiet high-voiced frontman for Sunny Day Real Estate is working on his second solo release and gearing up for a summer tour. Sometimes referred to as the "core of emo-core," Sunny Day Real Estate enjoyed (well, endured anyway) success in the mid-90s. In 1996, Enigk released his first solo album Return of the Frog Queen, and then in 2003 re-joined former SDRE members Goldsmith and Mendel to form Firetheft but is taking time out to work on this new solo project.

Crucial Blast is scheduled to release Genghis Tron's first full-length album, Dead Mountain Mouth, on June 6 of this year (06/06/06). The 10 tracks are touted to be as harsh and as listenable as the tunes on their last release.

In April of this year, Swedish hardcore band Refused, are scheduled to release their long-awaited DVD, Refused Are Fucking Dead. With their late '90s seminal punk album The Shape of Punk to Come, Refused sealed their place in music history. The DVD illuminates the band's journey and moments that change Refused forever.
