  • The Washington Post writes this morning that Democrats are "despondent" and President Donald Trump is "emboldened" in the wake of the Tuesday night victory of GOP candidate Karen Handel in the Georgia special congressional election. Handel defeated Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff by a nearly four-percent margin—more than doubling Trump's margin of victory in the same district last November.

  • Idaho native and U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl returned to a North Carolina courtroom this morning. Stars and Stripes reports that prosecutors want to present evidence at Bergdahl's court-martial, scheduled for this October, showing serious injuries to soldiers who went looking for him after the Hailey native went missing in June 2009, leading to his capture by the Taliban. Bergdahl spent five years as a captive before he was freed in May 2014 following a prisoner swap that angered members of Congress and some members of his former unit. Bergdahl was released in exchange for five Taliban leaders held at Guantanamo Bay. After an investigation into the circumstances of his capture, Bergdahl was charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.

The New York Times says customers can order three-15 items at a time, try them on and if they don't like any of them, they can ship the unwanted clothes back. Only then would the customer be charged for the clothing they choose to keep.

  • Burger King is pushing out something called the Lucky Charms milkshake, made of, you guessed it, Lucky Charms, ice cream and plenty of sugar. USA Today says the shake will cost $2.99 and has 740 calories, 17 grams of fat, 580 mg of sodium and 129 grams of carbohydrates.
