Lefty's Left-Handed Pumpkin Carving Contest

In many cultures, being left-handed is considered unlucky or even wicked, which makes a left-handed carving contest just about perfect. San Francisco-based Lefty's The Left Hand Store sells exclusively left-handed merchandise, and the staff is hoping to remind the world being left-handed isn't a curse. Actually, studies actually show left-handed people are often funnier and more creative—famous lefties include Leonardo da Vinci, Charlie Chaplin, Jerry Seinfeld and Tina Fey.

Lefty's is hosting a pumpkin carving contest, and all you have to do is post a video of you carving a pumpkin (left-handed, of course), post it to facebook.com/LeftysLeftHanded, and share it with your FB followers. Rack up the most views by Monday, Oct. 30 to win a $100 Lefty's gift card—a $50 gift card will go to the runner up. If you're short on left-handed carving tools, don't worry: Lefty's has everything you need. Visit leftyslefthanded.com, and you'll never feel left out again.
