Kulture Klatsch Katering and Macrobiotic Debut

Kulture Klatsch now caters. Or is it "katers?" Either way, their services are available for box lunches, high teas, parties (formal or buffet), weddings, family reunions, events-pretty much whatever you want. Like the restaurant, they offer regional, multicultural, vegetarian and special-diet food items. Owner Joanie Veage does wedding cakes, too, specializing in sugar sculpture and hand-painting frosting. Brochures are available at the 'Klatsch.

Also, as of March 2, Kulture Klatsch is now offering macrobiotic meals in addition to their already largely organic menu.

Kulture Klatsch, 409 S. 8th St., 345-0452.

Spirits News from Bardenay

Heads up, specialty imbibers: Bardenay is offering up yet another creation from their distillery (drum roll, please)-lemon vodka.

Bardenay, 610 Grove St., 426-0538.

Le Poulet Rouge Now Serving Dinner

Food fans were happy when Le Poulet Rouge opened up again in 2005. More Poulet news: beginning March 10, Le Poulet Rouge will be open late on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays to serve dinners (along with extra menu specials). Weekly hours now are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., weekend brunch from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Along with new dinner hours on Thursday through Saturday, word has it that as the weather gets nicer, Le Poulet may stay open later on other days as well.

Le Poulet Rouge, 106 N. 6th St., 343-8180.

Guido's: Second Location

There are now two Boise locations where you can score delicious Guido's pizza in all it's New York-style, gourmet-topping glory-because Guido's has opened up a new restaurant. They're still in their original downtown location (behind Flying M), but there's a new location on Chinden (across from Hewlett Packard). Yum, Guido's.

Guido's, 235 N. 5th St., 345-9011 and 12375 Chinden, 376-1008.
