Meet Your Legislator

Want to talk about the issues with your state legislator? Here's your chance, at least if you live in Boise's District 17.

Sen. Elliot Werk and Reps. Sue Chew and Bill Killen will hold a joint public legislative forum on Thursday, Jan. 10, to discuss some of the hot-button topics facing the new legislative session.

The event is open to all and will be held form 7 to 9 p.m. at Borah High School.

Werk, Chew and Killen will hold regular public office hours throughout the legislative session. All three will hold court in the Borah High School career center from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Jan. 15.

District 17 encompasses the central Bench area, north to Boise State, and is bordered by Interstate 84, the connector and the Boise River.
