Meg Ryan, Aaron Paul Announced as Guests of 2019 Sun Valley Film Festival

The 2019 edition of the Sun Valley Film Festival will host Meg Ryan, Idaho native Aaron Paul and a bevy of filmmakers beginning Wednesday, March 13, and running through Sunday, March 17.

Ryan, star of When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail and more than two dozen hit movies in the 1980s and 90s, will receive SVFF's Vision Award, presented to an industry icon. Emmy-winner Paul, star of Breaking Bad, BoJack Horseman and The Path, will receive the festival's Pioneer Award for his groundbreaking work in television and film.

Past honorees of the festival have included Gwyneth Paltrow, Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone, Jodie Foster, Bruce Dern and Geena Davis.

Additionally, SVFF announced that directors Alex Ross Perry and Fisher Stevens will be honored by the festival. Perry, whose film Her Smell will screen during the festival, will receive the Rising Star Award for Directing. Stevens, whose film Tigerland will screen during the festival, will receive the Snow Angel Award to honor his advocacy work, which focuses on environmental sustainability.
