Milk Money Mafia Taken Down

Authorities in Gooding County have arrested the seven man-children responsible for a recent spree of stickups at rural Idaho dairies. As reported in BW two weeks ago (BW, "Milking the Milkers," October 5), the masked bandits robbed employees at six rural milking barns across the Magic Valley in a single night--not coincidentally, the night when dairy employees usually get paid. According to a follow-up story in the Times-News, Christopher Herrera, 19, Luis Gonzalez, 21, Carlos Gonzalez, 22, Cady Mae Christensen, 19, and a pair of juvenile suspects were all arrested on October 4. Darrin Hogg, 18, of Jerome turned himself in a week later. The nefarious septet reportedly undertook the ill-fated rampage trying to raise $300 in bail for another friend who was serving time for battery in Gooding's city jail.
