A Canyon County man died overnight after failing to negotiate a turn on Interstate 84.

Idaho State Police say 41-year-old Robert Farris of Caldwell was driving his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle on an entrance ramp of the eastbound I-84 near milepost 27. That's where ISP said Farris failed to negotiate a curve, hit a concrete island, ultimately ejecting Farris. Officials said Farris was not wearing a helmet. He succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

The road was blocked for the better part of two hours while crews cleared the scene. ISP continues to investigate the crash.
