Re: “Congo's Forgotten 14 Years

All the abuses that being perpetrated to our mothers and sisters in DRCOngo, are the results of poor judgement of DRC's leaders. This started when Mobutu welcomed genocidaires, and allowed them to enter in his country with all their amunitions. People are now paying prices of what they didn't do.Kabila doesn't care as long as he is the President, he doesn't dare think about people in Kivu. He calls them "Watu ya kivu" meaning "people of Kivu". So, please I would urge all young people to stand up and denounce the bad politics in RDCongo, which our mothers and sisters are paying prices for.
May God bless my Country.

Re: “Congo's Forgotten 14 Years

Thank you for your article about people w/o nation. I am one of them and would like to rectify a little bit something on your article. Banyamulenge have lived in Congo, before it even become a country, I mean before the Berlin conference which divided africa into countries. Banyamulenge were already there. Belgium colony has records of those people living there. So, they didn't live in Congo for dozen of years. I am 35 I was born there, my father who is almost 50 was born there, his father, my grand pa, who, unfortunately was killed by militia in 60's was born in Congo. This to give you just a picture of how Banyamulenge are Congolese, despite the fact that they are or haven't been recognized as such. By the way, thank you for your article.
