Music for Healing and Transition Program 

When: First Monday of every month. Continues through Jan. 1 2009
Musicians are invited to register for the 2009 Music for Healing and Transition Program. MHTP is a national training and certification program for musicians interested in providing live therapeutic music at the patient bedside. MHTP graduates receive the title of CMP or Certified Music Practitioner and serve the critically ill, chronically ill, elderly, the dying, premature infants, surgical patients, birthing mothers and the injured, just to mention a few. Classes are conducted in Boise and details including the course curriculum, registration materials, graduation requirements and other information is available at www.mhtp.org. The modules are as follows: Module 1: April 25-26, 2009; Module 2: June 13-14, 2009; Module 3: August 15-16, 2009; Module 4: October 1-2, 2009; and Module 5: January 23-25, 2010.
