UPDATE: Nampa Police Investigating Fatality After Fist Fight at Idaho Center

Nampa Police are investigating the death of a Boise man following a June 9 fight at the Ford Idaho Center. KTVB reports that the victim has been identified as  24-year-old Pedro Fernandez-Ramirez of Boise.

Nampa Police were summoned to the Idaho Center just after 2 a.m. on June 9, following a a concert featuring several musical acts, dubbed El Recodo - Tucanes De Tijuana, at the arena. Witnesses said two men were in a fist fight, and after security broke up the disturbance, one man was rushed to a local hospital where he died a short time later from his injuries. Security used a Taser to subdue one male involved in the fight, but officials said a Taser was not used on the male who later died. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined.

No charges have been filed yet, but the case has been handed over the Canyon County Prosecutor's Office for investigation.
