Off to Singapore!

My brother has not visited me in the last three cities in which I have lived. I have only seen him a few times over the last few years, when I've been to visit my family in Texas. So you can imagine my surprise to find out last weekend that just by sheer coincidence, my brother will be in Singapore this week at the same time as me. Strange, but isn't everything? So, while I am away, the BW peeps are going to be as busy or busier than usual. I feel a bit guilty about being gone during such a hectic time as our first Boise Weekly Music Festival, but it was not intentional. Perhaps I should have checked the calendar to see all the events that we have going on, but it may be for the best, since they won't have time to be slackers. Just kidding! They're not slackers. They're the most awesome, hardworking team around, and I know everything will be in good hands in my absence. But throw them a few curve balls while I am away to keep them on their toes and let me know if they pull any fast ones on me. I am disappointed to miss the Music Festival this weekend. Showcasing great local musicians at three local music venues, the festivities begin on Thursday evening at Neurolux and continue though the weekend with Friday at Bouquet and Saturday at Terrapin Station. Visit the festival and show your support of local music. I will be sporting my T-shirt and listening to the compilation CD for the entire three days to show my support while I am on the beach. Look for an update next week from Singapore.
